Erin Eggerman is a Kansas City-based photographer and metalsmith whose primary focus is on architecture, landscape, and abstract fine art photography and metalsmithing. She was raised in Kansas, where she learned from her father a love for photographing nature and the land. Her grandmother in Kansas City shared her love of jewelry and took Erin on many trips to the art museum, cultivating her love for the arts.
Erin first studied photography and metalsmithing at Johnson County Community College. She is currently pursuing both passions as a double major at the University of Kansas. Her photography is inspired by lines, light and texture found in our manmade and natural surroundings. Erin explores cities in search of details that are often missed in our everyday urban life while capturing them in a way that leaves a sense of wonder using those images as inspiration for her metalsmithing pieces.
